No offense, but your artistic skills have regressed since then. Before you could draw rudimentary human figures (I think I even see a horse!), but now you’ve got just blobs of colour and bloody hands prints (which is kind of disturbing in itself).
tl;dr You need to work on your artistic skills.
On a completely unrelated note: it’s awesome that you’re still in contact with your friend from about 20 years back. The last time I saw any of my old friends was more than 2 years ago at a class reunion.
