- The third step involves going through the syllabus. The syllabus of GMAT is vast, and you need to cover it within a limited period of time. And that is why examining it thoroughly is important. Check all the subjects and see if there is something you are not comfortable with. For instance, a lot of people find the quantitative aptitude section difficult. If you are one of them, then you might not like to take this test. A lot of people also hate the verbal ability section. If you think these areas are beyond your reach, then there is no point in taking this exam.
