Nestled between the Himalayan foothills to the North and the Shivaliks to the South, Dehradun offers a breathtaking scenery to its visitors. These small temples built around beautiful scenic view runs along a belief that visiting all four Siddhs in a single day will fulfill a devotee’s wish.
The Museum– This huge museum with lavish environs is one of the largest forest institutes anywhere in the world. The place is filled with collections of the rarest artefacts related to the origin, development and sustenance of mankind on earth. Admissions are free and the place is always packed with people.
Markets– Take a stroll around markets like Paltan Bazaar, Balakram market and Indra market and shop for various locally made garments and accessories. You will also find some of the latest trends of street wear in these markets.
Rajpur Road– From international food chains to normal Indian stalls selling street food from all across India, to spending your night in one of the hotels, Rajpur place is one place you cannot avoid going during your stay in Dehradun.
