Many people are aware of Ted Turner. He has been parodied in multiple videos, is famous for being outspoken and of course, is the founder of CNN. CNN is going to be running a profile of Turner called “Ted Turner: The Maverick Man” on the news network on Sunday at seven eastern. But what are the billionaire’s thoughts as he turns 75. He has amassed a fortune that was, at one time, worth ten billion dollars. He has been a New York Times bestselling author, and been named “Man of the Year” by Time Magazine. He even has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
He is well known for saving the American buffalo from extinction. But now, as he approaches the end of a human lifespan, he has some questions that every person likely asks when they sit down and evaluate their life. Namely, whether he made his parents proud, and whether there is anyone out there that loves him. Also, he wants to know if he has a legacy, if anyone will remember him when he’s gone. He also wants to know if he’s going to be able to get into heaven, whatever “heaven” happens to be. As for the first three questions, the answer is most likely a resounding yes. He will be remembered and there are millions that love him for his humanitarian efforts. As for heaven, well, he will just have to wait and see.
